Santa's Reindeer.

My in-laws are really good friends of the owners of Woodstone Country Club and they were so nice to have us come visit their house and eat dinner at Woodstone.

But, first we had to see the reindeer - or elk, or humongous deer... whatever they were, they were massive. They live in their backyard, in a fenced in area... with white deer, and bulls, and many other animals that I don't know. They live right on a lake - it's a beautiful piece of property, but on Saturday, it was an awful day. It was freezing and rainy... but that didn't keep us away from feeding Santa's reindeer. Cambelle and Chloe were excited to see them but didn't want to feed them... they like big deer-elk from a far.

The owner told us they would eat carrots all day long... just with us visiting for about 30 minutes they went through a 50 lb bag of carrots.

All the other reindeer stayed away and you had to throw them carrots but two or three are the more brave ones and came right up to the fence.

Then, Bruce, the owner took us for a tour of his house... I've never seen so many alive-before-but-then-killed-and-are-now-stuffed-animals in my life... Cheetahs, zebras, bambies, razorbacks, duck, elk, deer, and again, other animals that I didn't know their names. They were stuffed and hung up on his wall or mounted on wood...

But, that didn't keep Cambelle from petting a bear rug or even jumping in this bear for a little ride. I was not in the room when this was going on and when I saw this, I almost threw up...

Then, it was off to dinner. The girls were a little loud for the CC but thankfully half way through our dinner we noticed we had the room to ourselves... so then the girls went loose and had fun exploring all the Christmas decorations.

We dressed the girls in their jammies before we decided to take pictures. We had about a 2 hour ride home and I like to put them in the jammies just in case they fall asleep, which never happens, but I like to think one day they will.
