Day 1: We made it! We left Saturday morning at 4:03am and got down here at the house around 11:00am. We stopped a few times but overall the ride was good. The girls only slept 40 minutes each and I stopped counting how many times Cambelle said, "I want to go to the beach..." after 32. It was cloudy and chilly when we first arrived, but by the time we unloaded the cars and got ourselves situated the sun was out.
Since it was chilly, Cambelle wanted to wear her clothes rather then a bathing suit. But, Chloe she was all about wearing her suit and getting sandy. 
You'd think seeing this picture below Chloe would have taken a nap... but no, she fought it and never took a nap. She was up from 4am till 7PM at night. That's Chloe for ya!
Jeff was trying to get the girls to go down to the water but they stopped right there and still haven't felt the water. I'm hoping by the end of the week, they would enjoy the water as much as Jeff and I do. 
Day 2: The guys went jet skiing...
... and Cambelle was buried. 
The girls seem ecstatic about being here. We are on no schedule... well kind of. We are enjoying every minute of being together and making memories. Stay tuned for more!

ReplyDeletei am so wishing i was there right now, but we had some family things going on here. i decided not to brave the trip with just me and the kids. have so much fun!!!
