Chloe's Big Girl Bed.

About 2 weeks ago we moved Chloe into a big girl bed... I thought it would be a great time since she's almost three and I felt like she was out growing her crib. I was going with the motto - if it ain't broken don't fix it... so that's why it took me so long to move her. Plus, she never tried to climb out and seemed content sleeping in her crib. Also, she has never been the best sleeper so I was nervous changing her over when I have a newborn to deal with.

But, she surprised us all. She has only gotten out once at night and will call for us is she needs anything. In the morning she'll come into our room and climb into our bed, but it's usually late in the morning like 7am.

My mom shops A LOT at Pottery Barn Kids so she had a special sale coupon that took 20% off my total purchases so we went over there 2 weekends ago and bought Chloe a quilt, fitted sheet, and sham. ( I didn't buy a sheet set, because I really didn't think she'd use it, since Cambelle doesn't use hers - she sleeps on top of it... it's weird, but I'm finding out my girls are not the only ones who do it).

Then this past week I bought the house art which I was eyeing up till it went on sale and boy, did it... all four pieces of art work marked down almost 1/2 off... I love a good bargain.

The day bed used to be mine when I was younger, and we just stored in in the basement till we could use it... and I'm glad we did... it's perfect for Chloe. My dad spray painted the whole thing white. The poles used to be light wood and the rod iron vine part used to be black... I think it turned out great.

So, now Chloe is officially a big girl... no diapers and no crib. Holla to that!
