Halloween 2010

We had a great Halloween.... Kitty Cat, Tinkerbell and Minnie Mouse cooperated and everyone got plenty of candy. Thanks to my mom and dad who cooked us all dinner... it was yummy! Kenna stayed inside with my parents while Jeff and I took out Cambelle and Chloe. I've never seen two little girls so excited for candy. Cambelle would jump out of the wagon, run up to the house, ring the doorbell and say trick or treat while Chloe stood far behind her until she thought it was safe to approach the door. I think we hit every house in our neighborhood and we were all ready for bed by 7:30. Even Kenna who is now sleeping in her crib (more on that later).

And, here's the best part of our night that Jeff and I are still laughing about it... Cambelle received Valentine's Day candy from one of the houses we visited... yep, that's right... OLD. VALENTINE'S DAY CANDY.FROM.FEBRUARY! Can you believe it? I was STUNNED! I have no idea why someone would give that out to a child... I mean come on... it's OLD! Nuff said!

Oh and well, we can't forget about the part that Chloe PEED on someone's doorstep while getting candy... she left a big wet puddle... I was mortified... I was so embarrassed. I just wish it was on the doorstep of the lady who gave us old V-Day candy!

And, can I share my Halloween opinion? I'm not really into it... I find it scary... I don't like masks AT ALL... and it's about 95% of the reason why I don't want to go to Disney. I don't know who's under the masks and I find it all creepy. I don't like the teenagers "dressed up as pedestrians." And, I don't like witches... And, I definitely don't like it when my children are scared.. it's breaks my heart seeing Chloe petrified and honestly, it's a dark Holiday! And, now I'm stuck with tons and tons of candy that I WILL not eat, because I didn't lose 10 pounds for nothing... So, there... Halloween stinks, but I do think my girls looked cute :)
