the beach never gets old.

I have to say... I never get tired of the beach. We really look forward to it and the girls have a blast. So, when we were invited to our friends, parents house for a few days, we couldn't pass it up. We loaded up the van and off we went. Cambelle packed a couple of her favorite toys in her backpack, grabbed a snack, said "cheese" to the camera and we were there in no time.

We drove down to Brigantine on Tuesday and then headed home on Thursday. We arrived about dinner time Tuesday night, cooked some dogs and burgers on the grill and then hit up the ice cream shop. Wednesday morning we went down to the beach...

Cambelle doesn't usually go in to far, it doesn't matter if Jeff holds her or takes her hand... she prefers to watch. But, since she saw how deep Ryan was going, she was a bit more daring. This was the farthest she's even been in the ocean...

Chloe likes the sand better. She likes to collect all the shells and dig big holes.

She loves the sand so much she acts like she's bathing in it. Again, the girls surprised us. The last time we were at the beach, they didn't want to stay too long and got bored quickly. We could have every sand toy out there, they would rather be clean and dry... well, Cambelle would, Chloe just follows along. But, they really enjoyed being at the beach this time. The weather wasn't too hot and there was a shore breeze, so I'm thinking it was the weather that helped.

After all the kids took very long naps, and maybe we did too... it was time to hit the boards and some rides. I think they went on every ride...

Ryan giving Chloe some love... I'm not sure what she was thinking.

The usual... ice cream.
Thanks guys for a great time... Can't wait to do it again.
