where did the weekend go?

Our weekend started off with a lot of digging and hard work. Well, not by us, but by the poor guys who had to work in the awful humidity. So the patio has started and they will be coming during the week to finish up. 

It took them all day to get to this point. There's still a lot to be done, but we are looking forward to the end result. 

The girls were invited to two birthday parties on Saturday. The first one was at a friends house for Sohpie's 3rd Birthday (I forgot my camera). Jeff and Chloe ended up staying home since Chloe decided to take an extra long nap. Sophie had a princess themed party and Cambelle really enjoyed story time with a real live princess. So fun!

After Sophie's party we went home to pick up Jeff and Chloe and headed over to Kaylee's Karate party. I have never seen Cambelle have so much in my life. Thanks to Miss Lauren and Uncle Matt for providing awesome entertainment.

Cambelle's face is priceless... every time she ran around and came near me she'd put this face on and then she kept running. I think Lauren had a great workout... She's a trooper though, she took the girls by their hands and went for it. I give her credit, I couldn't do that.

 Then, it was the big kids' turn. Emma, Cambelle, and Chloe are too little to join into the Karate class, so they took a seat and watched.

Once the big kids were done Uncle Matt took the smaller kids onto the matt and let them play around with the balls. Chloe was in heaven. She's in love with throwing and bouncing balls... 

When we got home we couldn't resist swinging in the play set, it was such a nice night out and we wanted the girls to run off their sugar high. 

Sunday was a little less low key. Our day totally depends on the weather, and since today was rainy and cloudy we didn't do much. We went to church, ate lunch with family and came home. We all took naps till 5PM! A little too late for me, but I think with the busy weekend the girls needed some good rest. I'm paying for it now though... Cambelle just came downstairs for the third time and it's 10:30PM. But, I'm willing to sacrifice a late bedtime for a really good Sunday nap.
