We've been talking to Cambelle about playing soccer for months now and we thought tonight was the best night to run to Sports Authority and get her some gear to really make it official... honestly, even though she's pumped to play, I'm nervous she's going to hate it and cry at every game once the time comes. But, I get the last say, and she doesn't have a choice... she's playing and she's going to like it... dang it, she's going to LOVE it even if I have to bribe her at every game ;)
We I was disappointed that SA didn't have her size in any cleats, actually they don't have cleats in her size (8) at all (they start at size 10)... so we'll have to shop elsewhere. But, we did get a size 4 soccer ball and shin guards. I even used the words cute, pink and soccer all in the same sentence. I think my dad would of had a heart attack if he heard me say such words... but I did and we actually bought her a pink soccer ball... I'm ashamed, I really am... but I couldn't resist the cuteness of it. My reasoning for the pinkness now is because she won't be wearing pink cleats and having a pink ball when she's older. So let's get the pink out of the way while she's young.
