Thursday afternoon we went to OC to visit Jeff's dad and step-mom who were renting a house for the week. Jeff had to work in the morning so we could only go down for the afternoon/night but we really had a great time. We hit tons of traffic on the way down (which is very rare for a Thursday) but we made it and hit the beach right away. 

It was Kenna's first time on the beach and on the boardwalk! Yay!

Once the girls tested the water they were jumping in the waves. I'm very proud of the girls for not being afraid on the ocean...

After the beach we went back to the house to freshen up and to get ready for the boardwalk.

Jeff and I were very surprised that Chloe wanted to go on the balloon ride. It's her FIRST ride ever... well, I forced her on the trains at Storybook Land, but that doesn't count since it wasn't her idea. 

I think Chloe was ready for bed on the ride to the boardwalk, the poor girl was tired all day.

This picture makes me cry... she was so happy to be on another ride like a big girl. She went on the Fun Slide with me too and that slide was so fast, that we got tons of air... I think both of us were a little scared... who ever waxed the slide was "wax happy" that day ....

But, back to the picture... she kept saying all night how happy she was that she went on the boats and balloon ride... it was totally her idea. I have no idea why all of a sudden she was all about the rides... but I was so happy that she can now enjoy them as much Cambelle does.

It was a great day... and we were lucky that Jeff could take some time off to enjoy it with his family.
