2 weeks old.

Well, technically Kenna will be 2 weeks old tomorrow, but who's counting? I have to be honest, some days, I feel like she should be a month old... it feels like she's been a part of our family forever... I have to remind myself she's only 2 weeks old. I'm happy that time is slowing down so I can really take in her baby smell and baby noises.

So far, she loves to be swaddled. C&C were not fans of keeping their hands below the blanket so I get all excited when I swaddle her and she quiets down immediately. However, she gets crankier when I sing to her. I mean, I'm no American Idol, but come on, I can hold at least one note... but Kenna doesn't see (hear) it that way.

Her sleep schedule is to be expected. She wakes up at least 2 times in the middle of the night. And, I'm still waking her every 3 hours during the day to change her and feed her. I feel that it's helping her sleep a little better at night. This girl doesn't have her nights and days mixed up, she knows the difference... I mean, how can she be confused when the day is full of 2 screaming little girls, who LOVE to jump off the couch very close to where she is sleeping. Good times...

Kenna's cheeks are starting to fill out and she's already outgrown some of her newborn clothes. Just the clothes from either Target or Carters that are NB - but she's swimming in all the clothes that are 0-3 months. So, it's pretty difficult to find something that will fit her perfectly.

Her favorite place to sleep is in her chair and is taking a liking to the swing too. Every day she's more awake but mostly sleeps the days away.

I'm feeling great! I'm wearing pre-pregnancy jeans, so I feel human again and I'm loving wearing my shirts again too. Holla to normal clothes.

Oh, and having the girls' names all start with the same sound is already confusing. Poor Kenna, is at least Chloe 100 times a day. I have to really think before I address one of the girls.... But, Cambelle reminds me who she is and corrects me when I call them the wrong name.
