Six Flags

Jeff and I made a very last minute decision yesterday, to take the girls to Six Flag. And, when I say last minute, I mean last minute. Something I'm not very good at, but the day was fantastic. Jeff and I were going to go into the city to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, but we opted out of that and decided to spend the entire day with the girls and it was the best decision ever.

Six Flag is only about an hour away so the ride was easy. We first did the safari... I took pictures of every animal but I'll just post a picture of Chloe's favorite animal she saw... the ostrich. I kid you not, she got so excited every time she saw this crazy bird, she would freak out...

And, let me just say it was HOT, HOT, HOT!!! I honesty, don't know what we were thinking even going to an amusement park on such a hot day, but we did it and survived.

For me, it was just mind over matter and lots of water.

Jeff was a trooper, he went on any ride Cambelle wanted to go on... he was a hot mess and never complained.

If it wasn't for this big green sippy cup, I think we would have all melted into the pavement.

It was a great day and it was fun to do something with the girls before Kenna arrives!
