I've been hearing a lot of two sentences lately:
1. "In one minute..."
2. "A few minutes..."
You'd think I'd be saying these to the girls, but nope, they are saying them to me. For example:
"Ok, girls, it's time to get your shoes on, we are going out!"
"In a minute!'
OR
"Time for bed, let's get going upstairs."
"In a few minutes!"
It's all I hear all day long. In the last couple of months I don't think I've ever said anything to them without the response of one of those above. So, it's been taking us a long time to get out of the house, go to bed, do basically anything...
And the best part about it, is that the girls say it in unison. They are a team and they stick together when it comes to stalling any activity they don't want to do. It's going to be interesting to add a little baby to the mix, because you know how long it takes to get out of the house with a baby, but adding two toddlers who don't want to leave the house (unless it's to the park or outside) should be interesting.
