Waiting.

What an awful day it is here in Philly... but we made it. After tons of traffic and some coffee, we settled Cambelle into her hospital gown. She knew something was up when I came at her with that mint green gown. But after I explained to her how comfy it is, she slipped on in. We talked to many nurses and her doctor, Dr. Abraham and then it was time to rock in roll. The anesthesiologist tried to give Cambelle cherry juice to drink that would make her silly and tired, but after just one sip she wasn't having it. I was surprised, Cambelle loves cherry anything and taking medicine. So after that attempt failed, I suited up (Jeff has a picture) and I carried her in. While taking her down to the room, she was asking to go bye-bye. And, once I got into the awful, white, sterile room she was crying hysterically. I had to put her down on the table and hold her. And, of course, I couldn't hold back the tears, and while I was trying to sing her favorite song, and they were putting the mask on, I broke down. But, once she was asleep they escorted me to the waiting room, where I am now! The procedure is only supposed to take 25 minutes... it'll be a very long 25 minutes!
