saturday travels

I guess living near Philly, you'd think I'd be used to traffic, but no... I'll never get used to it. We hit a lot of traffic jams, construction, accidents, etc all day on Saturday. It was (again) an extremely nice day, odd for August in Jersey. So, we thought we'd do something nice and go up to the Philadelphia Outlets (no where near Philly, about an hour out) and then visit Jeff's parents in Bethlehem, PA. On a good day I could be in Philly in 8 minutes - no exaggeration. So, we were on our merrily way but ran into many detours that led us around the city.

Finally, after detouring for 30 minutes we arrived at the outlets, did a little shopping and off to see Grandpa and Nana. We had a really nice dinner at Silver Creek Country Club.

I can't even explain to you how much Chloe eats. She'll eat anything you give her... and she still doesn't have any teeth. Jeff said the other day that we'll be taking Chloe to see a dietitian for her chunckness.

On our way home, we hit two other detours and got home later then what Ms. GPS said. It just wasn't our day to venture out. Other then being in the car, we had a great family day. Total time in car = 4 hours.
