fun dinner.

Last night Jeff and I went out with four other couples to Harrah's Casino (in Atlantic City) to enjoy their Buffet. Of course, if was delicious and very overwhelming. Lisa, Terrilynn, and I were going to make a "food lap," to see what all our options were but stopped at the crab leg section and piled our plate high. There were too many options for my little brain to take in, this is the same reason why it's hard for me to shop in a department store... I prefer stores/restaurants that are a little smaller in size.

This was my first buffet in a long time, because I feel like I never eat what we pay. We paid $30 per person, so I stayed with the King Crab Legs till Jeff told me I ate $30 worth. Once I was done with that, I headed to the dessert section.

We ended up bringing Cambelle with us. She stayed with our friends' two boys at their parents beach house - did that make sense? Teresa knows babysitters world wide so she just called up her posse and had a sitter. Cambelle had tons of fun playing with Ryan and Dylan and especially falling asleep on the couch with Ms. Katie. Chloe stayed home with my parents just because she's harder to put down for bedtime.

I was sucked in by the casinos and lost a little bit of money... I enjoyed pulling the lever down and wishing I would just win some of my money back. I did witness this cute little old lady win $2000. I didn't win anything, but I had fun while it lasted. I can see how people get addicted... thank goodness we don't go often. But, I'm looking forward to going again. It was fun to eat and enjoy the company of very good friends.
